Wedding Nannies of Seattle provides white-glove childcare exclusively for weddings and special events. We are not a babysitting service - we are a team of certified, background-checked, professionally trained childcare specialists who operate to standards that exceed anything else in the industry.
Every event is staffed with three dedicated nannies. Every child goes through our Polaroid security check-in system. Every moment is supervised with care, intention, and professionalism.

Support and Shadow Nannies do not use phones during events. Your children have our complete attention.
Our Check-In Process
We take security seriously. Our proprietary Polaroid check-in system ensures that only authorized individuals can pick up your child - no exceptions.
Polaroid Photo
We take an instant photo of you with your child - this becomes your identification and a keepsake to take home.
Matching Wristbands
You and your child receive matching numbered wristbands. These must be presented at pickup.
UV Stamp
An invisible UV stamp on both your wrist and your child's provides a secondary verification layer.
Quick Check-In Form
Confirm contact info, sign our liability acknowledgment, and share any last-minute information.
Secure Pickup
At pickup, we verify your wristband matches, compare you to the Polaroid, and check UV stamps if needed. Your child is released only to verified individuals.
Important Policies
These policies exist to keep all children safe and ensure we can provide the highest level of care. Please review them before the event:
- 📍You must remain on-siteAt least one parent/guardian must stay at the venue and be reachable by phone at all times.
- 🍽️No food or drinks in the childcare areaTo prevent allergic reactions, only water is permitted. Please take your child during mealtimes.
- 🚻Bathroom and diaper assistanceOur nannies do not take children to the bathroom or change diapers. We will contact you when your child needs this care.
- 💊No medication administrationWe cannot administer any medication, including Epi-pens or inhalers. You must be available if your child needs medication.
- 🤒Sick child policyChildren showing signs of illness (fever, coughing, vomiting, rash) cannot be accepted. This protects all children in our care.
- 🍷Sobriety requirementYou must remain sober enough to assume care of your child if needed. Enjoy the celebration responsibly.
- ⏰Pickup timeChildcare closes at the designated time. Late pickup fees may apply. Please listen for announcements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I check on my child during the event?
Absolutely! You're welcome to stop by anytime. We just ask that you don't linger in the childcare space, as this can make other children want their parents. A quick check-in and wave works best.
What if my child won't stop crying?
Our nannies are trained to help children transition and settle in. If your child is inconsolable after 15 minutes, we'll contact you to check in. Sometimes children just need more time with their parents - and that's okay.
What activities will my child do?
We bring a complete entertainment pack with age-appropriate activities: coloring, crafts, games, building toys, books, and more. Activities are rotated every 20-30 minutes to keep children engaged and happy. Everything is 100% screen-free.
What if there's a medical emergency?
All of our nannies are CPR and First Aid certified. In a serious emergency, they are authorized to call 911 immediately without waiting for permission. You will be notified as soon as possible.
Can someone else pick up my child?
Only individuals listed on your registration form and/or check-in paperwork may pick up your child. They must have a matching wristband or be verified against the Polaroid and UV stamp system. We will call you to confirm any pickup by an alternate person.
Is there video monitoring?
Yes. We use discreet video monitoring for safety and quality assurance. This protects your children and our team. Footage is retained for 14 days and then deleted.
